With greeting of a Happy Friday, friends, I also send an image of remembrance...

The light of remembrance for the Twin Towers
twinkles with raindrops in NYC
Any residents at NY's Mount Sinai School of Medicine? Or any med students looking to match in that direction? One Dr. Jacqueline Moline directs a program there called the World Trade Center Medical Monitoring and Treatment program. You can read an interview here to learn more about how the responders (including medical personnel, firefighters, rescue workers, etc) suffer these several years later with cancers, gastro and respiratory problems from the explosive residue. Of course, PTSD occurs in even greater numbers. All those who suffered - and still do - are in my thoughts and prayers today.
Let's be thankful today for our safety and hope for peace in our world!!
