Between BBQ-ing at Peanut Island and south beach volleyball this long weekend, I remembered the women and men... like my grandfathers, my ROTC friends in Iraq and Afghanistan, my friend, Kelly's, husband, doctors overseas... and the millions of members of the US Military who serve our country heroically. And since I'm the praying kind, I prayed for the military and their leaders, for those who have lost their lives and loved ones to protect our country, and I prayed for PEACE in our world.
Whenever I'm frustrated that Gannon is MIA at the hospital... I need to remind myself at least he's not at war.
