If I might draw your attention to these colorful lovelies... the ladies of Sigma Omega!
You may recall me introducing you to the Sigma Omegas when I named my friend Rachael as the first SO squared (and thereafter, to the third power). These resourceful ladies who met in Boca Raton, FL exemplify my personal favorite how-to, #13, (from the previous post) by becoming pals and confidants while their hubbies and boyfriends had affairs with their books... a la how-to #2. In lieu of referring to themselves as simply the "Significant Others," they took their title an inspired step further and christened themselves the Sigma Omegas.
Now still living near each other, if not in the same stunning Miami bayfront highrise (sadly, sans Tracy who left from Boca Raton to, well, another kind of "boca" by embarking on her program at Creighton Dental - way to go Tracy!), they meet semi-regularly for wine, cheese, chocolate, chatter, Grey's Anatomy, and other delightful what-have-yous.
UM's Miller School of Medicine's graduation a couple weeks back brought Tracy to town, which was when I had the pleasure of meeting the Sigmas in (almost) their entirety at a ceremonial viewing of the season finale of Grey's (now I'm not really a Grey's watcher, folks, but I that finale was .........!!!!).
Rachael & Michelle
The girls dolled up Sigma style to cheer on the 4th year grads as they embark on their intern years. I had to post photos of these SO beauties with their creatively fetching graduation garb. Can't get enough of their tees with the jersey-style monikers and the too-cute rhinestone insignia on the front. A million points to Team Sigma!
Lindsay, Caitlin, Tracy
Hopefully we can see a lot more of the Sigma Omegas...
And thanks to Tracy for the snaps!
