One of the yippee skippee wedding decisions made in San Diego was the choosing of the bridesmaid dresses. My problem solving mama found what I thought was unfindable (Word? Yes.) She found The Color.
I wasn't too picky about the dress style - just something simple and elegant - but picking the right color was the seeming impossibility. I have been looking for a bright palate, and hoping for a orangish-reddish-coral... and after internet search after internet search followed by trying on waaaay to many ugly orange bridesmaid dresses in itty bitty dressing rooms while listening to Christian Rock and Andrea Bocelli, my mom nailed it.
The Color is: Snapdragon.
In honor of the big decision, my Mom had about two dozen snapdragons planted in our front yard. The color is so dazzling I can't really explain it in words, so until we have wedding photos to show I'll leave you with this snapdragon snapshot to get an idea of their orange, fuschia, and gold glory.
